With Xmas, New Year, and weather from the Artic, there hasn't been too much to report on the Community Shop for the last few weeks.
It's a shame we coudn't have had the Shop open during this cold snap - many of us will have found it difficult to get to Market Drayton, Newport, or Loggerheads on the icy roads.
The good news is that the Shop Group meet on Monday 11th Jan (weather allowing) to move forward on the ramp and path project, the completion of which should finally see the new Community Shop open in the coming months.

This will provide : a source of daily provisions locally, a meeting place in the heart of the community, an outlet for local produce and an opportunity for work experience. The Shop will be a non-profit making initiative, run by the community for the community.
